I've been having this problem, for maybe a week or two. First it occured while playing CS2, several times, and i thought the problem is with CS2, so i left the game alone for a while. Then after a few hours of playing GTA RP, it gave me the same black screen (more like no display or blank screen, it seems that at these times, the monitor can not find any source of display). Then it happened with Marvel's Avengers and with Fortnite too, so i suppose it's a graphical error from my side.
This happenes completely randomly, i haven't noticed any regularity in it, one moment i'm playing, the next i'm listening to the game i've played and looking at a "looking for source" text on the monitor. The PC is still on, because the fans are spinning, and the RGB is still on. When this happens i have to restart the whole pc.
Now, i am using the most recent driver, so i don't think that is the problem, however i'm using a vga-hdmi adapter, because i haven't had the money to buy a new monitor, so i'm using an old one, found at the attic. This might be the problem, but i've been using it this way for almost a year now, and there hasn't been any kind of problem before with it.
Is the problem the display adapter, or do i have another hardware/software issue here?
Can you help me with it? It's been ruining my gaming experiences recently.
Matt.

Hello Matthew_Hartmann,
Thank you for posting on the Intel
To better understand the issue, please answer the following questions:
- Is the graphics card an Inte Branded Card or is it from another brand?
- What is the display adapter make and model?
- What is the monitor's make and model?
- Does it happen with the oldest drivers?
- To know your hardware and software information, run and attach the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows (SSU), you can find the steps on the link How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows.

Hello Matthew_Hartmann,
Thank you for your response and for providing the Intel® SSU.
Please follow the steps below and let me know the next results:
- Clean install the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver.
- Yesterday, we released a new graphics driver that may help to solve this issue, install the driver version 31.0.101.4953.
- If the issue persists repeat step number 1, and then install 31.0.101.4672.
Let me know the results.
