Intel Arc A770 doesn't work

I recently bought an Asrock ARC A770 phantom gaming 16 Gb OC graphics card and it doesn't work, before installing the W10 Pro 22H2 OS, the Mobo's LED was red and the VGA doesn't give a signal, I removed the GPU from the Mobo and installed the OS and the latest drivers and the GPU fans stopped although it gives a signal on the monitor through the DVI of the graphics card and the Mobo too.

Specs:

intel core i7 12700k

Asrock A770 phanton gaming 16G

NZXT N7 Z790

Corsair vengance DDR5 4x16

WD Black NMVe 1T

Gt750 80Gold

Resizable Bar enabled in Bios.

thanks in advance.

Hi Arcano,

Thank you for posting in the communities!

I'm sorry to learn that you are experiencing issues with your system. To better assist you and determine the most appropriate resolution, could you please provide the needed details listed below:

  • Have you already contacted your Place of Purchase regarding to this issue? Since you said that you recently bought the GPU, and it doesn't boot.
  • Have you check if the display cable is properly connected to the Intel Arc Graphics Card and to the monitor?
  • You can try using an alternative connection such as HDMI DisplayPort, or Thunderbolt. You may need to use the on-screen menu to change the input. If possible, also try another cable that known to work.
  • Try clearing the CMOS. Clearing the CMOS can help resetting BIOS settings to factory defaults. Refer to this page for help on how to clear the CMOS: How to Clear CMOS to Reset BIOS Settings in Systems with Intel®...
  • Try updating your BIOS version to the latest one.
  • Try reseating the RAM.
  • You may also start with one memory stick and insert it into the first channel. Refer to the motherboard manual for proper memory location.

Hi Earl, thanks for responding to my request. I followed your instructions, including updating the BIOS and performing a clean OS install. I uninstalled the IGPU driver to install the latest ARC A770 driver, and I got the GPU working.
The OS was somewhat unstable but eventually stabilized, but the MOBO still displays a POST error and the red LED corresponding to the GPU remains lit.
I think I need to properly configure the BIOS to optimize and take advantage of the GPU. Therefore, I would like your guidance on how to properly configure the BIOS to optimize the use of the GPU.

thanks in advance
