Hello, @Anonymous_Glitch
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Intel Arc Control.
To know more about the background, what processor do you have? Is this an Intel NUC?
Does this issue happen with the latest Intel graphics driver?
Best regards,
Jocelyn M.
Intel Customer Support Technician.

To know more about the background, what processor do you have?
Intel Core i9 13900HX
32 Gb's RAM
2.13 Tb's of Drive space between 1 Samsung 990 Pro, WD Black SN810 Black Ops Edition, and a Hynix 128 m.2 2230
Intel UHD (Arc) Graphics
NVidia RTX 4090 16 Gb's GDDR6
Windows 11 Pro with Virtualization Enabled
All Virtualization Softwares you can think of are installed.
Sandbox is Enabled.
Full Server Capabilities.
Is this an Intel NUC? What is an NUC? If I have to ask, it must not be. It is an Alienware M18 R2 2023 version.
Does this issue happen with the latest Intel graphics driver? You tell me.. the Driver and Version information are both in the post Subject Heading and the Photo. The previous archived post on this problem stated it was resolved in 4572. On my machine, it is not. I see we now have 4952 as of 11/01/23. I will update the driver. Why is "Intel Driver & Support Assistant" not doing its job?

This photo is before attempting to update my drivers. Your Software/Driver Update Assistant is telling me I am current on my Drivers, and do not need an update. See attached photo. (At this point in time, Intel Website notified me it was using cached information from 11/08 and that I did not need an update even though the driver was supposedly released on 11/01/23.)
After refreshing the page due to "stale configuration" notification: Although Intel says the latest driver is 4952, my Intel Driver Support page using your software is telling me I need driver 31.0.101.4887 and not the latest 4952 which I find interesting as well.

Hello, @Anonymous_Glitch
Thank you for your reply.
I understand your discomfort about Intel DSA, however, keep in mind it was designed for Intel systems such as Intel® NUCs, not for 3rd party products, as System Manufacturers provide their drivers, they may have done customizations on their systems and Intel DSA may not work as expected due to that reason.
In any case, if you wish to receive help regarding Intel DSA, we recommend you open a new thread describing the issue so we can provide assistance focused on Intel DSA.
Regarding the original issue, does this issue happen with the latest Intel graphics driver (31.0.101.4952)? As you can verify below, I am recommending the latest driver for the graphics of this processor.
Please let me know the results, these are the instructions to install the driver, just in case you need it: How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11*
