After installing new drivers with dx12 support a lot of my dx12 games became unplayable.

I tryed everything.  Instead of getting high fps it dropped below 24. Funny thing is even when I set everything to lowest possible, its still lags. My GPU is less then 50% busy.

I have 12th gen laptop. Hardware does not feel anything running on it, but still elden ring gives 10 fps almost constantly on ANY preset. 4k or 800x600 does not matter, no effects or everything turned on does not matter.

Cyberpunk same thing, became unplayable.

I had Kingdomcome:Deliverence installed, it dived to 0 fps every so often with significant lags on ANY setting. I dont know wtf is with this DX12, but it is garbage. I know for a fact it is on software level.

I used to play Cyberpunk on 40-60fps, it was plenty comfortable.
How do I fix this?

All of this happened when your "new" drivers came out.

I use official drivers from Intel, tried 5593 and now I'm using 5594 with command center(beta).

So I've noticed that my games use 32bit version d3d12.dll, whenever I try to use 64bit version - Elden Ring specifically fails to load.
I'll try today 64bit version on Cyberpunk.
Edit: Tried - it IS 64 bit versions fault. Cyberpunk does not load.

Option ROM is 20.0.1045.0 Does not update with drivers. I Don't know why.

I also tried HP version of drivers does not do anything.

Clean installations done several times. Old drivers - new drivers, any of them with dx12 support did nothing.

Cleaned my old shaders, removed all useless programs.

Turned off background programs.

Removed all autoload on startup programs.

Monitored memory. Stable use of 3-5gb.

PC is not overheating. There is nothing on power management that helped. Tryed different presets. Power has nothing to do with it.
Set a dedicated card on arc 370.
Tryed using integrated card instead. Suprisingly works a little bit better, but still lots of lag with small breaks of smooth fps.

Tryed turning v-sync off - your arc control does not provide this option so I used Intel Graphics Command center(beta) - also while showing disable v-sync in actual game it is on. So that does not work. Lowest settings  - no effect. In fact it makes no difference what settings are pushed. There is definetly lose communication. Something on software level does not work with hardware.
I think it is 32-bit dll version problem.  Why does it not work with Elden Ring I dont know.

Oh and My CPU the same as GPU never goes above 20%. There is no hardware problem on my side. Its not my doing for sure. Not windows either. It has to be drivers or dx12.  Nothing else makes any sense.

Best of luck, A.

P.S. Why the hell would you create arc control if you already had command center?

Tried 64bit version again. Seems like it works so you can skip that. Now I'm quite certain it can only be drivers. God I wish this dx12 nonsence never happened. It reeks of artificial slow downs.

Is there anyway to upgrade my firmware? I tryed installing drivers with safe mode, does not seem to update my OpROM at all.

Could you list drivers that come with FW update? Maybe all newer versions don't have it in a package?

Bios of my system is up to date. The only thing that did not update is Firmware on arc card.  SSU utility does not work properly on win 11 pro. In addition to SSU, I've created sysinfo file from windows information tool.

Please stop with autoreplys.
I pretty much explain to you that it was a downgrade done by me.
I had your new drivers and have them now they cause lag. Older ones work better. But something irreversable was done, so my machine tanks a lot of energy and does not work as it should, causes thermal throttling.

Right now I'm using Throttlestop software to reduce Watts given to my cpu and lags pretty much stopped.

The only problem is it does not work with arc - there is not program for that so I can't reduce Watts to my GPU, it tanks immidiately and never stops thermal control. Therefor i have zero productivity from it. MY iGPU OUTPERFORMS ARC.

Make a throttlestop like program for your hardware. I don't need super energy on this machine to run crappy ps4 games. It is precisely because of how much energy my machine draws. I need to REDUCE it to have smooth experience.

Thank you.
