Hi there, Ive been playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth in my arc a750, 32gb ram, r5 5500 (game installed in a ssd) for a while and I encounter some many problems in the way.
The first one is that in the lastest driver (32.0.101.6460/32.0.101.6259) the game crashes frecuently by playing for a while or if I change something in the graphic menu which is weird because in the previous driver (32.0.101.6458/32.0.101.6257) it does not happen and it suppose that (32.0.101.6460/32.0.101.6259) is game ready driver for FF7Rebirth.
One last thing I want to point about is that the game runs not great in a750 since it drops performance in towns or oddly enough, while watching mithril rock by 15-10fps less but in the open world area it runs decent, this used to be a problem in other games like Metaphor Refantazio in launch week until Intel fixed it in a driver update but there are something that make me some noise, driver (32.0.101.6460/32.0.101.6259) does have improvement in B series cards but A series cards doesnt, is there a way that they can implement those upgrades in A series cards through driver update?
Thanks for readding and hope you can help arc A series users

Hello Matertorneo,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
It seems that you are encountering performance issues with Arc A750 after updating the driver. Please share the information below for me to address this properly.
1. Have you tried rolling back the driver to the previous working version (32.0.101.6458/32.0.101.6257)?
2. Why did you update the driver, are there any issues with the previous one?
3. Which digital gaming platform are you using (Steam, Epic Games, etc.)?
4. Are you seeing any error messages when the game crashes?
5. What game settings are you using?
Additionally, to better understand your system's configuration, we kindly request that you download the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software. You can find the download link here: Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi there, thanks for answering and sorry to reply you so late
1. Yes I have but thing do not improve
2. Yes I did, driver 32.0.101.6460/32.0.101.6259 crashes more in FF7Rebirth than driver 32.0.101.6458/32.0.101.6257 for some reason and there is not improvement in performance whatsoever
3. Im playing the game in Steam
4. Yes I do, it promps DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED when it crashes
5. Im playing in this settings for best performance but I still have performance drops and crashes
Today, 01/02/25, the newest driver 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 make things even worse, now it crashes more frequently and performance is still the same
I install and unistall drivers using DDU

Confirming the same, persistent issue re: the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED error with the ArcA580, playing FF7 Rebirth via Steam.
I have VSync and FPS capped at 60 and do not have a dip in frames like OP, but this error hits frequently and at random;
initial errors coincided with cutscenes loading in, but the most recent driver update now causes this error to occur at any point in time.
I have tested using the following drivers:
32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 -- 11 crashes over ~ 6 hours
32.0.101.6460/32.0.101.6259 --10 crashes over ~ 4 hours
32.0.101.6332/32.0.101.101.625 -- 8 crashes over ~ 4 hours

Hi Matertorneo,
I am following up on the investigation I conducted. After replicating the issue, I found that it has been resolved with the latest graphics driver version: 32.0.101.6559 (WHQL Certified). Please download this driver and ensure you use DDU.
For your reference, you can review the results below:
If you encounter or observe the same issue, please let me know.

Hi Jed
Thanks for helping us, I tried FF7 Rebirth again with the newest driver installed (even I did a fresh windows install) for a while and the first thing I notice is that game doesnt crash while playing or changing settings mid game anymore and change graphics settings do something in performance terms which is a great upgrade compared with previous drivers but the performance is the overall the same
Cities still runs bad and some places in the open world drops fps but I understand its not completelly Intel Arc drivers fault since its widely known that FF7 Rebirth is a Nvidia sponsored title (DLSS only and even Nvidia RTX appairs at the end of credits of the game)
picture taken using medium preset settings and 100% resolution scale in Nibelheim (first city in the game running at 45fps), lowering the fog setting to low and distance to medium helps but still cant reach at 60fps in cities, Costal del Sol and Junon cant even reach 50fps not matter what settings I use
Hope you still continue with your research about FF7Rebirth and thanks for fixing the crash problem
Its definitly a better experience with the lastest drivers compared with the previous drivers

Hello, Matertorneo.
I'm glad to hear that the latest driver update has resolved the crashing issue and improved the performance when changing graphics settings. It's great to know that you're experiencing a more stable gameplay experience. I understand that there are still performance issues in certain areas of the game, especially in cities and open-world environments. As you mentioned, FF7 Rebirth being an Nvidia-sponsored title might contribute to these challenges. We'll continue to research and work on optimizing our drivers for better performance in such scenarios.
Best regards,
Von M.
