Hi, In Forza motorsport 8 (2023 game), I get a stopped working error every 20 minutes or 30 minutes.
I installed the 4887 graphics driver with the ddu program.
Intel system support utility results are attached.
I ran the game this way 6 times and I always get the same error. There is no screenshot or video because it is not clear when the error will occur.
I believe Intel will release a new driver and fix this problem.

Hello blend,
Thank you for posting in the Intel community. We understand that you are experiencing crashing issues when playing Forza Motorsport 8.
We would be more than glad to help you, and we would like to request more details about your system:
- What game distribution service do you use to install the game? (Steam, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Xbox Store)
- When did the issue start? Is it present since day one?
- You mentioned that your graphics card model is the Intel Arc 770. However, we would like to confirm your graphics card manufacturer. Is it a Limited Edition Card?
- To avoid duplication of efforts, what other troubleshooting steps have you tried besides running the DDU?
Best regards
Jean O.

I have install the game from microsoft store.
Since the day the game was released, that is, October 10, I last tested it on Sunday, October 22, and the same problem continues.
arc a770 standard. It's not a limited edition.
I have not used any other application other than DDU.

Hello blend,
If you haven't already, it's highly recommended that you check addelucas123's recommendation. Keeping your system up-to-date is crucial, so you should update your graphics driver to the latest version 31.0.101.4900, and test whether the game still crashes.
Additionally, you mentioned that your graphics card is an Intel Arc A770 standard. We would like to know the manufacturer of your graphics card. Is it Acer, ASRock, Sparkle, or any other?
Best regards

Hi,
I will try the new driver (31.0.101.4900) within 1 week! because I do not have an internet connection on the computer, it will be connected within 1 week.
I bought it in April 2023. The manufacturer of my graphics card is Intel. So the brand is Intel

Hello blend,
We understand that you need some time to install the new driver since you currently dont have an internet connection on the computer. There is no problem with it, and we will wait for your response to hear about the results.
We also want to clarify that we understand that you have an Intel Arc A770 card. However, we want to know if your graphics card is an Intel Branded Card (Limited edition) or if it is from another Graphics Card manufacturer that partners with Intel to manufacture Intel Arc Cards. You previously mentioned that this is not a Limiter edition card, so we would like to know your graphics card manufacturer and model, for example, Acer Predator Bifrost, AsRock Phantom gaming, Sparkle Titan, etc. This will benefit us to better understand your issue and guide you with warranty support if we determine it is necessary after completing the Troubleshooting process.
Best regards

I think this card is Intel A770 Limited Edition, but it doesn't say Limited Edition on the box, it just says Intel Arc A770.
Not any of these brands; Acer Predator Bifrost, AsRock Phantom gaming, Sparkle Titan.

Hello blend,
Here is an Amazon link that contains pictures of a Limited Edition graphics card model. You can check these pictures to see if your graphics card is a Limited Edition.
If your graphics card is not a Limited Edition, we kindly request you to send us a picture of it.

hi,
I tried the game today with 4900 driver and it crashed without a warning message appearing on the desktop. In the previous driver, it gave a "not responding" error!
When I looked at the card, I saw limited edition written on it, so what happens when it becomes limited edition?

Hello blend,
Thank you for the information provided. We understand that your video card is a Limited Edition card. e requested this information to get a better understanding of your system, as more details help us troubleshoot the issue more accurately. For example, if we complete the troubleshooting process and determine that it is a hardware issue, you may proceed with the warranty support provided by us. For Intel® Arc™ graphics cards that are made by different manufacturers, the warranty process is handled through the graphics card manufacturer's support.
As the issue persists even after updating your driver, we will conduct further research internally before continuing with troubleshooting support. We will get back to you as soon as we have more information.

Hi,
I'm also having the same issue with this game. Tried it on both the 4887 Forza ready drivers and latest 4900 drivers with the problem persisting. But the issue is much more predictable for me. A system crash has a high chance to happen during loading from one race track to the next, the easiest way to test this is during the tutorial where it cycles through different tracks after only 1 lap. The almost 100% guarantee for a crash to happen seems to be the Kayalami track. The other tracks are sometimes crashing.
GPU model: Intel Arc A770 16GB Limited Edition
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22621.2428
Game: Forza Motorsport 2023 Steam version
System specs: Intel NUC Extreme 13 13900K
Edit: Sometimes the crash will result in a BSOD, sometimes black screen. Here's the BSOD error:
Stop code: VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE
What failed: igdkmdnd64.sys
