If you have the monitor connected to the (rear) HDMI port and power on, do you see the BIOS Splash image (the skull) appear on this screen? If not, can you repeat with the monitor connected to one of the (rear) DP ports? If so, do you see the BIOS Splash image appear then?
If neither case worked, then, with the monitor connected to the (rear) TBT USB-C port, power on/reboot. When the BIOS Splash image appears, press the F2 key over and over until the BIOS Setup main scene appears. If so, from there, try pressing F9 (followed by Y) and then F10 (followed by Y). This will reset and save the BIOS configuration and reboot the NUC. You can then go back and try the original experiments above.
Let me know what this accomplished,

Ok, sounds like there is something wrong with the A770m component. I would say that it is time to return it for replacement. If you can do this through the original place of purchase, great. If not, you are going to have to contact Asus regarding replacement.
Sorry this happened,

Been having a similar problem, no error code simply doesn't show anything when I connect the HDMI cable to a 4k monitor, however use the same cable connected to a portable monitor at 1080p and it works fine. No BIOS logo on 4k, only on 1080p screens, it's as if the BIOS has done a reset or changed something after the reboot and is now only allowing output on 1080p, but I can't find anything that would indicate it. Any ideas??
This was a sudden occurrence, nothing changed except a reboot. The same cable worked just fine, even doing a BIOS reset did nothing to fix this. Surely there is a BIOS patch for fixing this.

I have very similar even exact issue.
my Intel Serpent Canyon NUC 12 Enthusiast PC model RNUC12SNKi7200U lost video output while watching video on YouTube.
I tried different cables and monitors and it keep loosing signal.
The monitor "see" the pc connected to it but there is no image on it after reboot.
I can hear that the PC is rebooting fine to Windows desktop.
I can boot using the rear usb type-c port thou.
What might be the problem? How to fix it? Is it even possible?
