Hi,
I've been playing NFS Unbound on my PC since it came out, and recently I switched out my i5 12600k for an i9 12900k, I also use a Intel LE Arc A750. After this switch NFS Unbound just crashes after the game opens, and you press "Enter" for it to go it's homepage, and I have not been able to figure out why this issue exists, I have reinstalled the drivers from DDU while in Safe Mode, I have updated the BIOS on my Aorus Z690 Elite AX Motherboard, and I have disabled the iGPU in Windows 11 (24H2, latest update) as well. I saw the post where another user with the same issue made a "user.cfg" file that disabled E-Cores, and I tried that and same results. Each time I have to press the reset button my PC to get it to restart, as it freezes. This issue is isolated to this system as I have another system with a i5 13600k, and 3060Ti that ran the game perfectly with the same save file. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, Teal.
Thank you for posting in our Community.
I’m really interested in the post you mentioned where other users had the same issue and created a "user.cfg" file to disable E-Cores. Could you please share the exact link? This would be really helpful as I continue investigating the issue, in case we haven't fully resolved it yet.
Since the game crashes and freezes after opening, would it be possible for you to send a video recording of the issue? This could help us identify any visual clues, like artifacting, that might be contributing to the crash.
Additionally, I’d like to dive a bit deeper into the specifics of your setup, such as the exact graphics driver versions and any potential system errors. Using the Intel SSU tool would allow us to gather detailed information about your system configuration, which could be key in pinpointing the cause of the issue.
Have a nice day!
Best regards,

Here is the link the "user.cfg" file post that you requested: https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-ARC-Graphics/Need-For-Speed-Unbound-Shuts-Restart-Down-PC/m-p/1623136
I can't get a video right now, but I can later in the day. The game launches, and then my PC freezes to the point where I have to press the reset button on my case to get it to reboot.
Here is my driver version: 32.0.101.6130
I will note updating drivers did not fix the issue, the driver were updated USING DDU, in safe mode.
Attached below is the requested Intel SSU Output.

Hi, Teal.
No problem at all, I completely understand. I appreciate you for sharing the link and the details you’ve already provided. I can see that you've already taken some solid steps with the driver updates and Intel DDU, so that's helpful to know. However, I did notice a discrepancy between the driver version you mentioned and the version listed in the Intel SSU logs. Just a heads-up, there’s a newer driver version available, which you can find here: Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*.
Furthermore, whenever you’re able to get the video or any additional info, feel free to send it my way, and I’ll take a closer look. Take care of what you need to, and we’ll address it when you have time.
Thanks again for the update.
Best regards,
Von M.

Some News:
I updated to the latest release a few days ago, and then ran MSFS2024 but then another update was released to add support for the game because it was super buggy, so I updated to that graphics driver. Now not only can I not play NFS Unbound, I can't play FS2024, or Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered which was running perfectly fine yesterday, until I updated the drivers for FS2024 today.
This is getting extremely frustrating.

UPDATE:
Downgraded drivers to a previous verison and it is now working properly again (Horizon Zero Dawn R). NFS Unbound is still not working and FS2024 doesn't run either as the graphics driver doesn't support it. This is a Intel Driver Issue.

Hi, Teal.
Thank you for your response. I understand how frustrating this situation must be, especially with the updates causing compatibility issues across multiple games. It sounds like the recent driver updates, especially the one intended for FS2024, have caused more problems than they resolved. I also appreciate you for providing an update about downgrading the drivers and getting Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered working again. It’s good to know that one issue has been resolved.
To be exact and for accurate troubleshooting, could you please tell us the exact version of the graphics driver you installed and a version where you downgraded the graphics driver? This will help me isolate and replicate the issue further. Moreover, would it be possible for you to send a video recording of the issue? This could help us identify any visual clues, like artifacts, that might be contributing to the crash.
Please let me know if you need further assistance, and I’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot further.
Best regards,
Von M.
