Planetside 2 error G25 periodically seen upgraded to ARC A750

Periodically I will get a G25 error when attempting to play Planetside 2.

When this error occurs, this webpage loads:  https://www.planetside2.com/game-error?code=G25&info=failed%20ConstructDisplay3D

I upgraded from an EVGA 1660TI which, although it is a weaker GPU, never gave this error.

I noticed in the SSU data, it is reporting my A750 only has 1 GB of GDDR6.   So maybe that is the issue?   Task manager shows I have all 8 GB though and, when the game does load, it plays very quickly.   Well, once you get past the lobby.  The lobby (called Sanctuary) is very low frames and sluggish with this card.   After that I get 140+ fps on any map.

So it seems something odd is happening.  I have an AMD 5900x 12 core processor, 32GB DDR4 3200, and this Intel ARC A750 GPU in Windows 10 22H2.  I don't feel comfortable posting the full log to a public facing forum.  But I will include a snippet of the oddity (which may or may not be the culprit):

Hello Smitty

Thank you for posting on the Intel® ARC™ Graphics Communities. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues when trying to play PlanetSide 2. Please let's try the following:

1.-Completly uninstall the game from your system and reinstall it.

2.-Use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall the current driver. Once the driver is uninstalled, reinstall the latest version 30.0.101.4146.

I will send a private message to the email address linked to your profile, so in case the issue persists after trying the above steps, you can attach the log file from the Intel® System Support Utility.

Best Regards,

Hello Smitty

We are interested in trying to replicate this issue, so in case you are still experiencing this problem besides the information request in the previous post, please let us know the following:

  •  Is the crash happening at random during normal gameplay?
  • Is there any action that we need to perform while playing to trigger the issue?
