Hello, for starters I want to say I'm very impressed with what that little card can do. I bought it on discount here in Poland and tested it with many games, some of them really old and obscure titles, and encountered zero problems. It's even better on newer titles, but there is one small graphical glitch I found in the UBOAT game(steam version), and I feel like I should report it because on my other GPU (RTX 5070) I did not encounter a similar glitch, so I'm going to assume this is an Intel Arc drivers issue.

When the foam starts forming in the water behind the submarine, you can see those particles (textures?) flashing. I'm not sure what causes them, but that's the only glitch I found in any game while using this card.
And just in case, my specs are:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
Motherboard: Asrock B850 Livemixer Wifi
Ram: ADATA XPG Lancer Blade, DDR5, 32 GB, 6000MHz, CL30
SSD: MSI M480 PRO 2TB
GPU: Intel Arc B580 graphics(Acer Nitro)
PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 650W
Windows 11 Pro 24H2 version
Monitor: GIGABYTE GS27QA 1440p
I played on both Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6972 and on latest WHQL driver(Intel® Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6913 (WHQL Certified))
And just for the record, I did use DDU every single time.
Best regards,

Hello Randy,
To answer your questions: There's no need for me to share my game settings. I tried turning on and off every setting, dozens of combinations with image quality, and nothing fixed it. As for your second question, I did have resizable bar enabled on my system, along with 4G decoding, and disabled iGPU in BIOS.
Best regards,
Alberto

I would like to report that I experienced exactly the same graphics artifacts as the OP. No matter which settings I choose, those little black artifacts still visual. I tried all your troubleshoot methods, sadly they didn't help in this situation.
I would like to ask the support to re-open this case, and try to investigate further, because i'm totally sure its a driver problem or some compatibility issue. I don't want to open a thread, because all i can write down is the same as OP did. Black graphics artifacts near the submarine, no matter the settings.
On the otherhand, I have zero issues with the game, it runs great, no issues except this one.
Thank you Intel Team!
Ákos

Hi @AlbertoBarbosa,
I understand your concern. If you could share your game settings, I can test them on my end. This isn’t about questioning your testing rather, I’d like to investigate further to help identify the root cause.
Here are a few recommendations to try:
- Check if Windows Game Mode is enabled – If not, try toggling it and test the game.
- Verify your monitor settings – Ensure it’s set to Game Mode or FPS mode. The GIGABYTE GS27QA supports this via the OSD Sidekick. You may refer to the user manual or contact the monitor manufacturer for assistance.
- Enable ASPM (Active State Power Management) – You can find the steps in the guide I’ve attached; scroll to the ASPM section.-Intel® Arc™ Graphics – Desktop Quick Start Guide
- Adjust Windows Power Settings – Set it to Maximum Power Savings as outlined in the same guide.-Intel® Arc™ Graphics – Desktop Quick Start Guide
- Test the game after applying each step one by one to help isolate the issue.
- Try different ports on the B580 motherboard to rule out connection-related issues.
- If available, test the graphics card on another working system to check if the glitch persists.
- Lastly, please share your complete SSU report logs so I can verify if your motherboard BIOS is up to date.-Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Randy T.
