I'm facing a frustrating issue with the latest Intel® Graphics Driver (version 32.0.101.6559). After the update, videos in media players (MPC-BE, VLC, MPC-HC) take 5-10 seconds to open, whereas rolling back to version 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 resolved the problem immediately, restoring instant playback.
Has anyone else encountered this issue or have insights on why the new driver is causing this delay? I'd appreciate any suggestions to fix this without reverting to an older driver. Thank you!

@Muza
Not exactly. The problem that is stopping me from updating to the latest drivers is that my video files do not load instantly with the latest drivers compared to the previous version.

Hi BuskyRick,
Thank you for posting in the communities!
I'm sorry to learn that you are experiencing issues with your system. To better assist you and determine the most appropriate resolution, could you please provide the needed details listed below:
- May I know if your device is a laptop or a desktop? if it's a laptop, what is the exact make and model of it?
- Did you perform DDU before you download the latest graphics driver?
We will be able to go forward with the following step and try to address the problem you are having once we receive this information. In order to give you the best assistance possible, your participation is crucial.

Hello @Earl_Intel
My device is a desktop: I am currently using an Intel Arc B580 Gunnir Index.
And, yes, I used DDU to uninstall the current driver before updating to the latest driver.
After that, my videos did not load as quickly as they did with the previous driver version 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262. So I rolled back to the previous driver, and the problem was resolved. I'll wait for a fix and then update my drivers again. Apparently, Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs face a similar, if not related, issue.

Hi DuskyRick,
Thank you for sharing this information with us.
No worries, I will further check on this internally and will update you on this thread as soon as possible.
While waiting, kindly run this on your system so that I can also gauge the following peripherals and the driver versions that you have:
Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*
Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan (leave the default items checked), click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide us the .txt file.
Having the SSU logs of your system will greatly help in the investigation.
Best regards,
Earl E.

Hi there! Sorry for taking a while to respond; I was catching up on some sleep when your message arrived.
I've attached the log file with the driver version 32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 (previous drivers) that I'm using on my computer right now.
If you think it would help, just let me know if I should make a new log file with the latest WHQL driver. I'm more than willing to update to the latest version for a bit if that’s what you suggest. Thanks!
