Was Starfield performance really fixed?

I'm seeing conflicting reports.

I have the gamepass version of the game, running with a 5700X, 32GB DDR4 3600MHz and a A750 (Drivers 4887/4900/4952 | Windows 10 64-bit 22H2 | ReBAR ON | PCI Express 4.0 x16 | Game on NVMe X4 SSD).

I noticed that performance outside the city is about twice as fast, but in the city I still get low GPU and ~20FPS, which is frustrating, since driver 4887 said it fixed Starfield performance.

ALSO: I have sometimes huge performance drops with ~50% GPU usage locked after loading new areas, but this gets fixed after a game restart.

Am i'm doing something wrong? Are you guys having better performance?

Hello AjrAlves,

Thank you for posting on the Intel communities. I noticed that you are having low performance issues while playing Strafield with your Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics, getting 20 FPS, I will be more than to help you.

First, I want to let you know that based on the release notes in driver version 4887, it says the game performance was improved for DirectX12 up to 117% uplift at 1080p with Ultra settings and up to 149% uplift at 1440p with High settings.

We still working really hard, to find the solution to this issue as soon as possible, I want to thank you for letting us know that you still having this issue.

Let me know if you have further questions.

Hello AjrAlves,

Thank you for your time.

This week we released a new graphics driver, please clean install the graphics driver with Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). For guidance, How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver. Then install the graphics driver version 31.0.101.4953.

If the issue persists, run and attach Intel® System Support Utility for Windows (SSU), you can find the steps on the link How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows.
