Good night
I'm David, There is a problem with the temperature of the Intel Arc A770 graphics card, it gets 90 degrees, I think the problem is in the drivers, they should correct that temperature and the fans should work faster to lower that temperature, that is, when I play DX11 or DX12 it gets 90 degrees, if I play DX10 70 degrees there is something, I think the intel driver engineers should correct the temperature at least 65 to 70 degrees, check the source and it is well connected etc and it gives power try changing the source and the same remains the same source I have is Corsair RM850, I need to report anyway

Hello David1997
In case the temperatures get that high and if the fans are working as expected there is a possibility that the GPU might be defective in that case we might recommend a GPU replacement after properly troubleshooting the issue. We are still missing the video showing this issue and the GPU behavior and I understand from your previous posts you will send it to us later on. Please share with us the information one possible so we can further assist with this issue.

Here is the video of the game with the VRAM temperature and the photo of the behavior of the GPU when it exits the game
the replacement of the GPU, no provider has the Intel Arc A770 graphics card that I have Intel Arc A770 16GB is out of stock and I'm going to run out of graphics, please find a solution, we have to look for software drivers or something or, you send me one from your almacen, that is Spanish or Spain like mine exactly the same
no provider repeats, either pccomponentes or amazon does not have any equal to mine, only the Arc A750 and I have Arc A770, you must send one to Spain
That should be communicated to superior and if you are going to send one that changes the thermal paste to a superior one, that is, of quality

good afternoon,
I just contacted ASUS and my motherboard heating is normal, which is not normal for the Intel Arc A770 graphics card, that is, if the GPU temperature is at 90 degrees and the VRAM at 90 or 92 degrees is fine, as long as it doesn't give you a blue screen or the game closes etc. everything is fine, now you must confirm when you have information

Hello David1997
Thank you for sharing the video with us, this is the information we needed. Taking a look at the video the behavior does seem to be overheating, however, allow me to check the information with our team before we advise on the next steps.
I will post back once I have more information for you.
Best regards,

Hello David1997
We wold like to discard any type of air flow issue that might be coming from the system chassis. Could you please remove the tempered glass cover from the chassis and check if the same issue?

Good night
I'm David, I haven't tried removing the tempered glass from the chassis, but because it gets hot with the glass from the chassis, I'm going to pass you the box, that is, the computer cabinet I have and the CPU to see if it's normal or No, I hope you understand me, you still have to improve the temperature of the GPU, you have to get drivers, I would also like to be a member of Intel if I could be a partner, well I'll send you the two links, the box and the heatsink that I have, let's see if is that why or what is it
The link that I am going to send you will see that I have it just like what you are going to see, I have it like this, but with the lid closed, that is, with tempered glass.

Should we all operate our Intel Arc with the tower open?
A graphics card should have sufficient reserves so that it works 100% even in a closed housing.
No overheating issues with any other card before!
Based on the GPU temperatures, you can see that the card is sufficiently cooled, only the memory has a problem dissipating its heat to the cooler.
I've also attached a photo where you can see from a video from gamers nexus that the thermal pads are not making enough contact with the ram chips. manufacturing defect?
I suspect this is the cause of the problem!

Hello Goldy
Opening the case was not a solution but a troubleshooting step to make sure there are no airflow issues within the case that can happen when fans are not properly installed, of course, as you mentioned the GPU should be able to operate under with normal temperatures with the cases's cover closed. We appreciate your feedback.

Good night
Where to buy the graphics card, He told me the following is not a problem, the temperature can work from 95 degrees to 110 degrees of the GPU VRAM temperature, Be careful, I am not saying general GPU temperature, if not the GPU VRAM can work from 95 to 110 degrees, No you have to worry at that temperature the graphics protects when it gets too hot, On the other hand the issue of Red Dead Redemption 2 DX12 of 1 FPS when you go to correct the problem through drivers, Please tell the Intel driver engineers that we want all the players that go between 110 to 115 FPS all in ultra ultra activating DX12 1920x1080 that is to say 1080p, But I am waiting for you to correct the problem of 1 FPS DX12 Red Dead Redemption 2,
Regards David

Hello David1997
The working temperature for the GPU will be 90C everything above that target is overheating. In this case, please contact your place of purchase, or as mentioned above in case you have issues with them you can contact us directly at the contact information in our previous post.
As for the issue you mention with Red Dead Redemption, the issue is still being investigated and there is no estimated time for a fi to be released at the moment.
