Hello Soubhi,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel® Aero Compute Board.
As you probably noticed in this post https://communities.intel.com/message/470929# 470929 https://communities.intel.com/message/470929# 470929, Leonardo R mentions the following:
The Intel Aero Ready to Fly Drone comes with 4 motors and 4 ESCs, it might be possible to upgrade to 6 motors and 6 ESCs but this has not been validated. The RTF drone also comes with an Intel Aero Flight Controller with Dronecode* PX4* autopilot and it isn't possible to control the motor via S.Bus because s not enabled in the Intel Aero Platform.
And since the Intel Aero Ready to Fly uses the Intel Aero Compute Board, the previous also applies. So using a 6 motors frame hasn't been validated and it seems that using an 8 motors frame is not possible.
If you have any other question, don't hesitate to contact us.
Have a nice day.
Regards,
Andres V.
