Excuse me I've read several articles arguing that Intel Joule boards are compatibles with Px4 add-ons
As Joule is going to be discontinued, i'll need to know several things about intel AERO
1) is it possible to link with intel real sense, but chnging the dafault cam with a thermal camera?
2) is it px4 compatible? in this case how? (sdk link?)
kind regards

Hi carlosrm,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Platform. It is possible to connect the Intel RealSense R200 camera. There are built in binary examples into the Aero software. You can find additional information about RealSense on https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense https://github.com/IntelRealSense/librealsense. Unfortunately, we have not done any tests with thermal cameras. If you explore thermal cameras please share your results with the community.
The Intel Flight Controller included in the Intel Aero Ready-to-Fly drone is compatible with px4 and ArduPilot. With the px4 software stack, you can access the drone with QGroundControl software by connecting your laptop to the Aero RTF Drone access point.
You can find additional information on the Aero Wiki: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki

Jesus
