Hi,
Any idea on how to fix this issue:
The Drone does not boot into a shell terminal. After powering on, it powers off automatically.
Thanks,

Hi Amshirkh,
That's weird. At least you can enter the to BIOS setup screen,so can you please flash the Intel Aero Image? To do it please follow the next guide: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/Quickstart-Guide# flash-intel-aero-image
If you still have issues, can you send us another photo of the error? We can't determine the error on the photo that you have shared.
We will be waiting for your response.
Have a nice weekend.
Regards,
Leonardo R.

Thank you for your response.
What partition format does the USB stick need to be in?
I have tried ext4, FAT32, NTFS and followed the instructions here ( https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/Quickstart-Guide# prepare-usb-installer-linux Quickstart Guide · intel-aero/meta-intel-aero Wiki · GitHub ) and created a USB image.
The USB stick is not recognized under 'EFI Boot Devices'.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Hi Amshirkh,
That's weird. We normally use FAT32, and it works. Can you try it with another USB stick?
We created the Image on Linux, and Windows. Try on both OS if it is possible for you.
Let us know if you still have issues

Hi,
The Windows approach and switching from a 64GB to 4GB USB brought up the boot option.
I still see the same original issue:
see video1: ( Install attempt )

see video2: ( boot from USB attempt )

Normal attempt at startup also seems to fail at the same place.

Hi Amshirkh,
We are investigating about your issue, and we just want to know about if this behavior happens since it was opened or it is recently. And can you provide us the specifications of your battery? Are you using it when it is fully charged?
We will be waiting for your reply.

Leonardo R.

Hi,
I am using a power supply set at 15 volts.
The problem seems to have been with some of the connector pins. Reconnecting all the cables seems to have fixed the issue.
I am now able to boot up from the USB.
Now I am facing a different issue.
I get the following error at bootup:
'EFI Embedded MMC Device boot failed.'
Thanks,

Hi Amshirkh,
It is good to know that the fisrt problem was fixed. About this issue, I tried to replicate it but it booted without problems. Does it happen when you just only boot from USB? And, did you try to update the BIOS? https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-setup# flashing-the-bios
Can you also show us the message from the command get_aero_version.py?
We will be waiting for your answer.

Leonardo R.
