[Aero RTF] Is there a way to monitor energy consumption of the battery?

Hi,

I'm trying to monitor energy consumption during the flight and I found MAVLink messages 'BATTERY_STATUS.current_consumed' and 'BATTERY_STATUS.energy_consumed'.

But I found that their values are some garbage numbers like 0 or -1. Does that mean I need some dedicated hardware to monitor energy consumption of the drone? Or is there any way around it?

Any help would be welcome. Thank you.

Hi Kaxiaaa,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.

If you want to monitor the drone's battery status in QGroundcontrol, you will need to update the drone's battery characteristics in the QGroundcontrol application. This will require a connection to the drone using a USB cable.

You can find more details here:
