Aero drone radio frequencies, antenna?

I'm working on filing a "Standard Frequency Authorization Form" (aka SFAF) for the Intel Aero drone, so I'm trying to track down pertinent information regarding the Aero drone and it's controller, including what radio frequencies the Aero drone and it's controller transmit and receive on, what kind of transmitters they are, what their operating radius is, the type, name, gain of the antennae for both transmitter and receiver, whether the antennae are directional or not, antennae polarization, and the receiver operating radius. I could use any pointers to where I could obtain this information.

Hello, seanrowens

Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.

The Intel Aero uses a Spektrum DXe Transmitter and a AR700 Receiver. You may find useful information in the links below:

https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPM1000-manual-MULTI.pdf

https://www.spektrumrc.com/ProdInfo/Files/SPMAR7000UserGuide.pdf

Also, the Aero drone has an Intel 8260D2W wireless card and a slot for an LTE module which is not included.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Alexandra

Thanks! That looks very helpful. Two things;

1) You specified an AR700 but the PDF you linked too says AR7000. I'm assuming this was just at typo and it is in fact an AR7000, but if it is not, please let me know.

2) Any pointers to info on the antennae? ( type, name, gain, polarization)

Any chance of getting some more information? And data sheets, at least on the intel products?
