I am using intel Aero with Ubuntu. I have followed the guide to install and configure Ubuntu and to connect it with Qgroundcontrol.
the drone used to connect with qgroundcontrol on a pc, now qgroundcontrol cannot connect with the vehicle anymore.
computer local ip: 192.168.43.76
aero local ip: 192.168.43.227
if i run mavlink-routerd here is the result:
Open UDP 192.168.43.76:14550
Open UDP 192.168.7.255:14550
Error binding socket Address already in use)
Could not open 0.0.0.0:80550
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Drone.
You have to connect your PC to the drone's WiFi access point:
Also, please make sure you disabled the firewall or any similar programs on your computer.
Thank you for your answer,
unfortunately it is not a matter of firewall and stuff. The problems appears sometimes and some other times not. we have tried on different connectios, different computers but the problem still shows up
We have discovered is an internal problem of the aero board, because it persists even after having re-flashed it with yocto from scratch
sometimes it is not able to recognize flight controller version, when you write aero-get-version it prompts aerofc version unknown and the udate command sequence:
fails as described before
No it is not the first time i flash the flight controller, but suddently it started to have this problem
I am on Ubuntu 16.4 with kernel 4.4.76-aero-1.2
It says it cannot open 0.0.0.0:80550 why does it use this port?
Are you using "sudo"?
