Autonomous takeoff and landing

Hello

 

I want to execute autonomous takeoff and landing on my Intel RTF drone along with the obstacle avoidance during flight.

 

For the obstacle avoidance I have used the Px4 avoidance library and it is working fine, now I want to integrate autonomous takeoff and landing as well with the obstacle avoidance

 

Does Intel has already done that, so it can help me with this?

Hi UGoya, Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone. It is possible to do autonomous take off but you would need to implement this on your own as we have not done this. You may find this link helpful: https://docs.px4.io/en/flight_modes/takeoff.html The Aero drone (Multi-Copter) would ascend to a desired altitude and hold it's position for further input.
