I'd like to fly the drone with the intel aero compute board as a flight controller( without external flight contorller) . Although a similar qusttion had been discussed before (https://communities.intel.com/thread/121050 https://communities.intel.com/thread/121050), the detailed way was not mentioned. I am a beginner in the drone development, so I cannot occur the idea to do it . Could you tell me the detailed way?

Hi shita,

It should be possible to build and install the Ardupilot firmware on the Aero compute board without a flight controller and use the compute board on-board sensors. Unfortunately, there is no guide to do this and you will have to do it on your own.

Regards,

Alexandra

Hi shita,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.

Can you give me more details about what you are trying to accomplish and what is the purpose of that?

You have the drone (that comes with the flight controller) and also the board separately and you want to use it as a flight controller?

Regards,

Alexandra
