I'm having issues connecting to mavros on the Intel RTF drone. ROS is running fine, I can access the Realsense drivers, but I can't seem to be able to see any data on the mavros topics when I run
roslaunch mavros px4.launch fcu_url:=udp://@:14556
mavlink-routerd seems to be running fine. I even tried manually restarting it to no avail.
Output of get_aero_version.py
BIOS_VERSION = Aero-01.00.12_Prod
OS_VERSION = v01.00.04
AIRMAP_VERSION = 1.8
FPGA_VERSION = 0xff 0xff
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks for your interest in the Intel® Aero™ Platform for UAVs.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues running mavros. Have you already tried the commands in this guide https://dev.px4.io/simulation-ros-interface.html https://dev.px4.io/simulation-ros-interface.html ?
Please let me know your results, have a nice day!
I'm not sure what you want me to do there - I'm not interested in simulating PX4. The SITL simulator also doesn't seem to have been included in the install.
What I want to do is this: Be able to access the mavlink stream that is ostensibly broadcast by mavlink-routerd. Is the UDP port on the wiki specific to that or do I need an alternate URL? I tried directly connecting to ttyS1, to no avail.
I apologize that I didn't elaborate more my suggestion, I was just suggesting to use the UDP port mention on this guide https://dev.px4.io/en/simulation-ros-interface.html https://dev.px4.io/en/simulation-ros-interface.html .
By investigating a little more I found this thread , where several users had the same issue as you. It seems like the right command is: roslaunch mavros px4.launch fcu_url:=/dev/ttyS1:baudrate. Make sure that you use a baud rate that's a multiple of 115200 until 912k.
Hope you find this information useful, have a nice day!
