Out of the box, the Aero has a boot image pre-loaded on the embedded storage (eMMC). And we see from the Quick Start Guide that we can build an installer to update that pre-configured image. Would we be able to build our own image to a SD card and boot the Aero from it (instead of flashing the image onto the embedded eMMC storage from the installer)? For development, we prefer not to over write the built-in eMMC. From the options available in GRUB, it looks like we might be able to - just want to post the question to confirm. Thanks!

Hi Gilbert,
I'm working on it in order to confirm your concern, and as I have put in your other thread (/thread/106365 https://communities.intel.com/thread/106365) I'll put my updates as soon as possible, I'll appreciate your patience.

Hi Gilbert,
We apologize for the delay in our response, we've been investigating and currently we don't support booting off the SD card.
