Hi aurusd,

By looking at the Aero Compute Board interfaces and the LN930 Hardware Guide ( http://www.telit.com/fileadmin/user_upload/products/Downloads/Telit_xN930_Hardware_User_Guide_r10.pd...), it seems that it's not possible to use the module as the Aero board doesn't have a M.2 interface. There is actually one M.2 interface but it's for an SSD expansion storage option.

Please check the Aero's interfaces in the following document: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/aero/aero-platform-uavs-mech...

I hope you find this information helpful.

Regards,

Hi aurusd,

Those sockets and interfaces marked as Reserved are currently inactive. They are intended for future use in future software releases. That's the reason you cannot use the modem in the current software release.

I hope I have clarified your doubt.

Hi aurusd,

The document T2Pilot pointed is valid. After investigating further on this, I found that LTE is enabled in 1.5 and above software release: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/releases/tag/v1.5 Release v1.5 · intel-aero/meta-intel-aero · GitHub

The document pointed above has been recently uploaded and it covers the topic of adding LTE wireless communication for the Aero board.
