I am currently working on a thesis and i was wondering whether the aero board came with the code to run the sense and avoid so i could provide tests on its precision and accuracy.
Thanks,
Hamish

Hi Hamish,
I'd like make sure I'm getting your question correctly. Please clarify that what you want to know is if the Intel Real sense camera comes included with the Aero Compute Board and is ready to use without the need of any configuration, is this correct?
-Sergio
Yes this is correct. I understand that the board might not come with the camera but if the camera was purchased separately would it just be plug and play to test the reliability and efficiency of the sense and avoid software
Yes, the Aero and the camera can be sold separately. You can see the board and the kits available here http://click.intel.com/intel-aero-platform-developer-kits.html http://click.intel.com/intel-aero-platform-developer-kits.html . We'll look for more information to see if it the Aero and the Real Sense camera can be used together without the need to configure any software tools.

Thank you for your patience. The RealSense and Aero module are currently not ready to be used without the need of having to make some software configuration. Once it is ready, the plan is to make it open source.
Let us know if this is what you were looking for and if there's anything else we can help you with.
