Error during BIOS update

I updated BIOS to as per https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/Quickstart-Guide# updating-the-bios wiki but when rebooting I see this error. Hitting ESC gets me to BIOS editor. Any ideas how I can clear this error?

Hi hbruce,

I already flashed the BIOS in the Aero and I didn't get any errors. Are you sure that your USB drive is formatted in FAT32? Also are you sure you are using the right rpm file (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26500/UAV-installation-files-for-Intel-Aero-Platform?v=t Download UAV installation files for Intel® Aero Platform ), please see the image below:

By the way I saw that you are using the old guide (https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/Quickstart-Guide# updating-the-bios Quickstart Guide · intel-aero/meta-intel-aero Wiki · GitHub ), in the new guide they use almost the same commands (https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup# flashing-the-bios 02 Initial Setup · intel-aero/meta-intel-aero Wiki · GitHub ), but I would encourage to keep referring to the new guide.

Jose,

Thanks for following up. I transferred the capsule file to the intel-aero device over a network connection. I checked the md5sum after the transfer and it was correct. I have used this approach before and it worked.
