Hi everyone,
I just unboxed the Intel Aero drone, and I have a few questions. First, I downloaded QGroundControl on both my laptop and my cell phone, but only got to connecting to the drone using my cell phone. Even then, the connection drops every ten seconds.
Do I need to complete the Flashing state before I try anything else, or is there something else that I should be aware of?
Thanks in advance,
Zameel

Hello Zameel,
Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support.
Could you try to flash the OS again and provide us the output of the command aero-get-version.py?
You should get the following output:
BIOS_VERSION = Aero-01.00.12_Prod OS_VERSION = v1.3.1 AIRMAP_VERSION = 1.8 FPGA_VERSION = 0xc0 Also please let me know if you're using a USB OTG cable and if it's 2.0 or 3.0.
I will be waiting for your reply.
Regards,
Octavian

Hi Octavian,
Thanks for your reply. I did as you asked, flashed the OS again and got the exact output you stated. However, next to AeroFC firmware version it says 'version unknown'.
I am using the Insignia OTG Micro USB to USB adapter which is connected to a Anker USB 3.0 Data Hub. I can't tell if the OTG cable is USB 2.0 or 3.0. I have links to both devices below though:

Thanks again,

Hello Zameel,
Thank you for your patience.
Please make sure all of your components are updated and that your computer does not have a firewall blocking the communication between Qgroundcontrol and the drone.
You can refer to the guide below to make sure you've set up everything correctly:
