How to access current GPS location of Intel Aero RTF Drone

I am currently working on a capstone project using the intel aero running Ubuntu and would like to access the current GPS location, compass heading and altitude of the drone in a program I am writing in c++. The program will be running locally on the compute board while the drone is inflight. I was wondering if there is a function call that I can use in my c++ program that will allow me to pull each of these values

Hi MMarc11, The Intel Aero RTF Drone uses the MAVLink router to communicate to the flight controller software stack. You should be able to use Dronekit or pymavlink to read the GPS information. Take a look at the following links for additional information. https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/04-Autonomous-drone-programming-in-Python https://github.com/intel/mavlink-router Hope this helps!
