I reset my drone software following the basic Initial Setup manual, set up all the firmware, replaced Yocto with Ubuntu, ensured that all the firmware is still A-OK, reinstalled the necessary packages and am currently in QGC, being able to control the drone (as much as possible without a controller).
When I turn the DXe on, while holding the panic button, instead of binding with a triple beep, it goes "beep boop" (low, lower).
What steps do I need to take to bind the DXe?

Hi zeta274,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero RTF drone.
Is the LED from the Spektrum DXe receiver blinking or steady?
Regards,
Alexandra

It blinks once every 10-15 seconds or so. (The receiver on the drone)

Hi zeta274,
You should always power the flight controller on first and then the drone.
What is happening if you keep the flight controller on and then you power off and on the drone? Is the LED steady?
Regards,
Alexandra

"power the flight controller on first and then the drone"
That did the trick. Thank you.
