Hello,
We bought the Aero RTF kit, to start developing indoors applications, but we're finding hard to start even the simplest tests as positioning from the ground (or ceiling doesn't seem to be available), can the default RTF kit be able to do basic autonomous indoor navigation? do we need to buy extra sensors like a lidar?
Regards,
Victor.

Hi VictorDrone,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.
By default the Aero RTF Drone should not be flown indoors due to GPS not being present. It requires a very skilled pilot to fly a drone indoors.
However, we do have guides to install a Lidar sensor to fly without GPS and you can also try an Indoor Positioning System that uses NMEA 0183 GPS format as mentioned in this tread: /thread/119013 https://communities.intel.com/thread/119013

Let me know if you need more information.
Regards,
Alexandra
