Hi,
I have a Intel RTF and want to test some indoor navigation. I was looking for some techniques how to do that and came up with this website:
https://www.vertigodrones.com/Intel-RealSense-Module-for-the-Yuneec-Typhoon-H_p_372.html?gclid=Cj0KC... Intel RealSense Module for the Yuneec Typhoon H
That made me question. Is it possible to run the IPS system for the RTF drone? If yes, where could I get the code to test that? If not, do I have to buy any other hardware?
Thanks in advance! Regards,
André Castro.

Hello Andre,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.
The module you linked is designed specifically for the Yuneec Typhoon.
Here are some libraries you can use that would help you with indoor navigation:
https://github.com/intel-aero/aero-optical-flow
https://github.com/intel/collision-avoidance-library
Also, if you're willing to purchase additional hardware, there is a guide here for indoor navigation but it requires you to have the PX4 optical flow sensor: http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-Aero-Drone-Altitude-and-Position-Hold-Using-/
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Octavian
