Intel Aero control using Qgroundcontrol without Wifi?

I need to do a field test (up to 120m altitude), since qgroundcontrol is connected through Wifi, there is limited range according to the Instructables (Intel Aero Drone - Extending Wifi Range).

Is it any other method can control Intel Aero using QGroundcontrol with a wider range and more safely?

Hi ZLieu, Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone. The wifi will most likely disconnect once you fly the drone. You can extend the wifi range by replacing the antennas: https://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-Aero-Drone-Extending-Wifi-Range/ You can also use a telemetry module: http://ardupilot.org/copter/docs/common-sik-telemetry-radio.html# Regards, Alexandra
