Intel Aero system time

Jump to solution

I have noticed that Intel Aero does not count time when it is off. If I turn the drone off at 2017/12/1 07:23 and re run it again after ten minutes, it will start from 2017/12/1 07:23. If there is active internet connection, it will update itself. But if there is none, the date/time will be messed up.

Is this an expected behavior? If yes, is there some workaround to solve it?

Hi Humam,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Platform. That is the expected behavior, the Intel Aero Compute Board does not have a RTC Battery. As you mentioned, the only way to keep the time updated is by having an internet connection.
