Intel AeroFC Firmware version = unknown

Jump to solution

I am getting ready to install Ubuntu 16.04 on the Intel Aero RTF. The instructions first mention to update the BIOS, FPGA and FC. I followed all the instructions here

https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup

I downloaded the latest .iso and flashed the drone with it.

Then updated the BIOS and the FPGA. Then updated the FC.

Then when I ran aero-get-version.py I see this

root@intel-aero:~# aero-get-version.py

BIOS_VERSION = Aero-01.00.16

OS_VERSION = Poky Aero (Intel Aero Linux Distro) 1.6.2 (pyro)"

AIRMAP_VERSION = 1.8

FPGA_VERSION = 0xc0

AeroFC firmware version = unknown

I also tried to install ubuntu after it, but it is not getting installed.

Please help.

Thanks in advance

Hello Eliza

Thanks for follow up

Actually I have installed the Ubuntu, now I have to install the dependencies, but this command:

wget -qO - https://download.01.org/aero/deb/intel-aero-deb.key | sudo apt-key add -

is not working .

Actually I think the link in this command is not more active.

Can you please check it and let me know.

Thanks and Regards

Utkarsh
