I just followed the instructions here: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/90-(References)-OS-user-Installation https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/90-(References)-OS-user-Installation to install Ubuntu 16.04.03 on my Intel Aero RTF drone. I did this after updating the BIOS, FC and FPGA to the latest version.
Ubuntu starts just fine, but the WiFi network interface is not available. It doesn't come up in ifconfig or anywhere else that I can find.
I tried a soft reboot, power cycle, but nothing..
Meanwhile, WiFi works fine in the Ubuntu setup and also if I boot into Ubuntu from the bootable thumbdrive by selecting "Try Ubuntu".
Any ideas where to start troubleshooting this?
Thanks!

Hello, valts
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support.
Were you experiencing this same issue with the default image?

Hi Alexandra,
The default image was working perfectly fine. Anyway, I've reinstalled Ubuntu, this time alongside Yocto and the WiFi is working perfectly fine now. Not sure what was the problem. Thanks! One thing I did differently is that I didn't use WiFi during the installation process.
