Hello Yoni,

Thank you for your patience.

After flashing the aero-rtf_12c.jam and aerofc-v1_px4flow.px4 files this is the output we have:

BIOS_VERSION = Aero-01.00.13

OS_VERSION = Poky Aero (Intel Aero Linux Distro) 1.6.1 (pyro)"

AIRMAP_VERSION = 1.8

FPGA_VERSION = 0xc2

AeroFC firmware version = 1.5.0

Also for QGC we have the latest 3.3.0 version installed.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Octavian

Hi Octavian,

Does the optical flow work? Is the drone hovering?

Thanks, Yoni.

Hello Yoni,

We were able to get the system working for us. We recommend

to check that the sensor is connected properly and that the correct .jam file is used because that one configures the telemetry port to expose an additional i2c interface.

If you are using the provided flight controller firmware, please tell me if the optical_flow_rad is showing in the MavLink Inspector.

Hello Yoni,

The correct versions can be downloaded from this article http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-Aero-Drone-Altitude-and-Position-Hold-Using-/

After flashing both the FC firmware and FPGA you should see FPGA version 0xc1 and the FC firmware 1.5.0

Hi Octavian,

Did you check that it works and hovers while flying?

Thanks, Yoni

Hello Yoni,

We aren't able to test the hovering in the lab right now, but we've tested successfully in the past and there are also other users who have successfully used it.

Please make sure your PX4 parameters are adjusted for whichever surface they're launching from as stated in the guide.

Hi,

Yes, it's still not working.

Can you please check once again in your lab and describe the workflow you went through for it to work?

Thanks, Yoni.
