Python Sources and Python3 pip support in Yocto

Jump to solution

Hello,

Could we get an incremental update to the yocto iso which includes both python 2 and 3 sources as well as pip3 for python 3? I'm running into issues when I try to pip install certain modules and pip3 is unavailable. I attempted to build yocto per your instructions on the wiki but failed repeatedly. Thanks.

Hi n00bslayer,

Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Compute Board.

The best way to install pip3 is by rebuilding the Yocto image and including the pip3 recipe.

As to your build fails, what errors are you getting? We have seen other users run into issues when building Yocto because of updated librealsense repositories. Take a look at the following thread for the workaround: /thread/126980 https://communities.intel.com/thread/126980
