RT preempt kernel

Hello, How can we install a Real time kernel on the intel aero board ?

If we could get the source of the 4.4.76-aero kernel we could then apply the RT patch. but where are those sources?

Thanks

Hi, anemo

The kernel source 4.4.76 can be downloaded from the following link:

https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27019/eng/kernel-source-4.4.76.tar.bz2 https://downloadmirror.intel.com/27019/eng/kernel-source-4.4.76.tar.bz2

ok, I was able to fetch the source, to recompile it and to install it.

Everything is functional, thanks.

However, why isn't there a spi device installed on this intel aero plateform ?

there is no spidev device present in the /dev/ directory eventhough the option is activate in the kernel config, do you know why?

Thanks
