I bought and received RTF. I tried to connect QGround Control using wifi access. I am not able to see wifi access point. Do I need to flash my drone or RTF should able to show wifi access point? Before flashing I wanted to check application and some flight fly experience with already calibrated drone.
Thanks and Regards,
Bhaskar

Hello Bhaskar,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero drone.
You will need to first set up the drone, install the OS and update it by following this guide: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup
You can also install Ubuntu with this guide if you prefer: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/90-(References)-OS-user-Installation
The drone, by default, should start as an access point when you boot it up.
You can find more information here on how to enable and disabled the access point:
https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/08-Aero-Network-and-System-Administration
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Octavian

Hello Bhaskar,
In order to view the battery status you will need to follow the steps listed in the following link:
https://docs.qgroundcontrol.com/en/SetupView/Power.html
This Power setup is used to configure the battery parameters.
You will most likely also require a multimeter in order to measure the voltage from the battery.
Please let us know if we can assist with any further information.
Best regards,
Bogdan

I tried to fly my drone and it crash landed. Unfortunatly I lost three wings in the process. Do we need to upgrade the firmware for stable flight. I tried with position hold and just take off and landing but drone was moving forward very fast even though I was not doing anything with right joy stick( Movement control). It was not properly tuned and unstable..
