RTF bios update

Hello

I just did ISO update with the lastet. However it is still "..00.11" version.

BIOS_VERSION = Aero-01.00.13

Do I need to install this ? If so how. I just put it on usb and try to connect, couldnot see usb drive "/media" folder

"aero-bios-01.00.13-r1.corei7_64.rpm"

"File description: BIOS binary for Intel Aero Compute Board v01.00.13"

Thanks

Hi aerobot,

The BIOS are part of the iso file, which you can find the latest image at the following link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26389/UAV-installation-files-for-Intel-Aero-Platform%3Fv%3... https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26389/UAV-installation-files-for-Intel-Aero-Platform?v=t

The steps to flash the BIOS on the Aero Compute Board can be found in the following link: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup# flashing-the-bios

Hi Ezequil

Compute-board

I installed "File description: OS image for Intel Aero Compute Board v1.6" for compute-board.However I did not need to install "File description: BIOS binary for Intel Aero Compute Board v01.00.13".Because when I check the version it is already v01.00.13.

RTF

I I installed "File description: OS image for Intel Aero Compute Board v1.6" again for RTF.Version is "v01.00.11". What am I missing?

As for as I know I should install same OS image for RTF and compute-board.

Thanks

When flashing the OS image for Intel Aero, you also need to flash the bios on the board. The command to be executed is: aero-bios-update

More detailed instructions can be found in the Aero wiki: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup# flashing-the-bios

Please try the following and let me know the output.
