Hi all,
I replaced the Intel compute board that came with my Aero RTF drone with a brand new Intel Compute Board.
However, the drone powers on for 5 seconds and then shuts off.
Is there any additional setup required for installing a new Intel Aero compute board?
Thanks,
Will

Hello Will Ko,
Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Ready to Fly Drone.
Could you please try to update the Aero Compute Board components outside of the drone prior to installing . (OS, FPGA with aero-rtf.jam, bios, flight controller).

The replacement Aero Compute Board does not come with the AeroFC that came with the RTF drone.
Are you suggesting that I flash the Aero Compute Board components first and then attach the AeroFC from the RTF drone?

Hello wko,
Yes, you will need to follow the exact steps you have available on the link:
https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-Setup# flashing
Do all this with the board outside the Drone.
Let me know if you need any further details.
Regards,
Casandra
