Unable to upload mission(when waypoint number exceed 50)

Jump to solution

I bought an intel aero a few months ago, however, we found that when using Qgroundcontrol to communicate with Intel aero, we can not upload a mission that contains more than 50 waypoints. Once we upload a mission that has more than 50 waypoints, Qgc cannot upload that mission to Intel Aero, and show an error message says "Unable to write on micro sd". We looked over GitHub and the intel aero forum and didn't get any help. It is very frustrating and limits the application of this drone. Does anyone has

any clue how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Hello YLin0, Thank you for your interest in the Intel Aero Ready to Fly drone. I have just replicated your issue and I noticed that by using PX4 Firmware version 1.8.1 and the latest QGroundControl version I do not receive this error message. I have tested it with 51 waypoints. You can find the latest release for PX4 here: https://github.com/PX4/Firmware/releases Please make sure that you follow the instructions on Flashing the Flight Controller which you can find here: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-setup#flashing-the-flight-controller-r... After upgrading the firmware, please do an Airframe reset. Instructions on how to do that can be found here: https://github.com/intel-aero/meta-intel-aero/wiki/02-Initial-setup#calibration-1 Please let us know the outcome! Thank you and best regards, Eliza
