Hi all,
does someone measured the antenna radiation pattern of the wi-fi transceiver of the Intel Aero (comprehensive of the full frame)?
Thank you
Best

Hello AngeloTrotta,
Please note that this information is not available.
The Wi-Fi antenas on the RTF drone were selected because they were light weight. If you need something different, there is a guide to change the antennas. http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-Aero-Drone-Extending-Wifi-Range/ http://www.instructables.com/id/Intel-Aero-Drone-Extending-Wifi-Range/

Thank you for your reply.
Actually we are planning to make some communication experiment for both air-to-air connection and air-to-ground connection and I was wandering if we could have a match with the antenna radiation pattern that includes also the frame shadowing.
However, it was just an idea, so there is no problem if this information is not available now.
Thank you.
Best
