Hello, regardless of whether it's a game or while browsing, such as YouTube, I suddenly get a black screen, no signal, and the VGA light on the motherboard flickers, then the computer tries to boot again and restarts. The last time this happened was when I tried to open Furmark; the image went black. OCCT tests show the card as normal. The motherboard is an MSI A520 A Pro with the latest BIOS. The motherboard was recently replaced; the previous one was an Asus B450M K2, and I couldn't get a display in UEFI mode, so I changed the motherboard and power supply. I also made the necessary decoding adjustments, but no matter what I do, this sudden black screen and subsequent VGA light problem persists. Please help.

Hi NorthWind,
Thank you for posting in our Community.
Based on your description, the system experiences a sudden black screen (no signal), the motherboard VGA LED turns on, and then the system attempts to reboot. You also mentioned this occurred when launching FurMark, while OCCT reports the card as normal. The motherboard has already been replaced (now using MSI A520-A PRO with latest BIOS), and the PSU was also changed, yet the issue persists. To help isolate this further, may I kindly ask the following:
-
What is the exact power supply model and wattage currently installed?
- Are you using separate PCIe power cables from the PSU to the GPU?
- Have you tried reseating the graphics card and checking all power cable connections securely?
- Have you tested the graphics card in another known-working system to rule out a hardware issue?
- What driver version is currently installed? Was a clean installation performed using DDU before reinstalling the driver?
- Are there any WHEA errors or critical Kernel-Power events in Windows Event Viewer around the time of the crash?
- Is Resizable BAR enabled or disabled in BIOS?
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

Hi, I solved my problem. I changed the system standby mode settings in the BIOS, lowering the "ACPI" and RAM usage. For those experiencing similar issues, try swapping the RAM modules; the problem was with one of the two settings. I didn't tinker with it further as I haven't experienced the problem again.Thanks.
