B580 Artifacting?

Hi, I need help finding a solution to an artifacting (random purple glitches) problem I’m experiencing with my Arc B580 graphics card (drivers 32.0.101.6257). It’s not a performance issue, but it’s extremely annoying and made me wonder (at first sight) if I received a brand new broken GPU. However, after further investigation, it seems to be a driver-related issue. Also, I did enable ReBar, in case anyone asks.

Problem Description:

I have been experiencing artifacting (I still think it's the name, even thought I may be using the wrong name) with my Arc B580 graphics card. I used the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to completely remove the drivers from my previous GTX 1050 Ti, but other than the addition of XeSS 2.0 as an option in Marvel Rivals, I haven’t noticed any major improvements. Furthermore, I tested several games to see if the issue persisted. Here are the results:

  • Apex Legends – The game works fine with XeSS and high settings.
  • Battlefield V – Runs perfectly on max settings (DX12).
  • Delta Forces – Performs excellently with XeSS and high graphics settings.
  • Forza Horizon 4 – Runs very well, but I noticed flickering from streetlight effects across the screen. This doesn’t affect performance, but it wasn’t present with the 1050 Ti or the 3060 Ti. I suspect Ray Tracing could be the cause, though I need to confirm.
  • Halo Infinite – Runs well, but there are minor Ray Tracing lighting issues.
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – Runs very well.
  • Marvel Rivals – I noticed the issue occurred briefly (less than a second) during a 1-hour session, but it wasn’t a major problem.
  • Rainbow Six Extraction – Works great with max settings.
  • Star Wars: Battlefront II – Runs very well with max settings (DX12).
  • Star Wars Outlaws – Struggles to maintain 60 FPS, but this isn’t a big issue.
  • The Finals – Performs really well.
  • Fortnite – The issue persists no matter the settings, whether XeSS is on or off, or with Ray Tracing enabled. The problem doesn’t change, even with low or ultra settings.
  • Minecraft (Bedrock) – Surprisingly, the B580 struggles with Minecraft RTX, but performs fine with regular Bedrock Minecraft.

I have searched online and found that several Reddit users have confirmed experiencing similar problems over the past 40 days. It appears this issue wasn’t present previously and is likely related to the drivers. Some users report that the beta update resolves the issue, while others disagree. Additionally, disabling ReBar might solve the problem, but this leads to performance issues.

I will continue to try and find the source of the issue and have already contacted Intel support, but their assistance hasn’t changed anything.

Looking forward to any advice on resolving this matter.

Hi MathisG,

I will forward this internally for investigation. While I don't have an answer at this moment, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you for documenting the detailed information. I'm going to look into the issue further. I have one question, may I know the origin of these games (e.g., Steam, Epic Games, etc.)?

 Hi MathisG,

Follow up, needed information. Which of this game you encounter the artifacts? For graphics corruption (per example artifacts, textures corruption or lighting glitches) please use Intel Arc Control or Intel Graphics Software to capture screenshots or a video showing the bug and kindly share it here with us.

Hi,
I won't create a thread right now for every single game I've tried. It's not possible for me right now because accessing this website and be active on every single thread is impossible for me right now.
However, I am ready to help and give every detail you need.

Hi, sorry I will answer, now. It's just that it is very difficult for me to access this website. I can't log in because I registered my account with Google and now login in this website is overcomplicated and with school I do not have much time to answer whenever I want.
