Hello,
I recently purchased an Intel Arc A 750 graphics card. Unfortunately, the card is having problems in some games. For example, in F1 25, the card is only at 60% load, even though the fps are unlocked and the processor isn't under heavy load. Can you fix this?
Regards, Krzysztof

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thank you for posting in our Community. I get what you mean. It’s frustrating when your GPU isn’t hitting full performance, especially in games like F1 25. No worries, we’ll dig into what’s causing it and get things running the way they should. To help me investigate further, could you please share the following details?
- Just to confirm, when you mention “60% load,” do you mean the GPU usage stays around that level even though the FPS is unlocked and your CPU isn’t being heavily used?
- The game resolution and graphics settings you’re using when this issue occurs.
- Whether Resizable BAR (ReBAR) is enabled in your BIOS, this feature can significantly affect Arc GPU performance.
- If possible, please confirm whether the same behavior appears in other games or just F1 25.
- If you've performed any other tests, please provide the details so we can avoid going over the same steps again.
I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue.
Additionally, to further investigate the issue and provide you with the best possible solution, I kindly ask you to share CapFrameX data for this game. This will allow us to analyze the performance metrics in more detail and identify any irregularities. Please capture and share a CapFrameX file that records at least 2–5 minutes of gameplay
Have a nice day!
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thank you for getting back to me and for confirming those details. Since the Resizable BAR is already enabled, your CPU isn’t fully loaded, and yet the GPU utilization remains around 50–60% across multiple titles (like The Last of Us Part II, F1 25, and Uncharted 4), this behavior does point toward something beyond simple game settings, possibly related to driver-level optimization or how the workloads are being distributed between the CPU and GPU. To move forward effectively, I’d like to review a few more specifics to help us pinpoint whether this is a system-level limitation or a performance scaling issue:
-
Could you please share the CapFrameX data from one of these games (ideally The Last of Us Part II) for around 2–5 minutes of gameplay? This will allow me to analyze frame times, GPU usage, and CPU scheduling in detail.
-
If you haven’t already, please generate and share an Intel SSU report so I can review your driver versions, BIOS configuration, and background processes.
-
Lastly, do you notice any difference in GPU utilization when enabling V-Sync or limiting the frame rate manually within the game or via Intel Arc Control?
Once I have that data, I’ll be able to check for known optimization behaviors, verify whether your setup is affected by any current driver-level limitations, and provide a precise recommendation to restore full performance.
Have a great day ahead
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thanks for your response. You make a valid point, running the GPU on a PCIe 3.0 interface can indeed have some impact on overall performance, especially with bandwidth-heavy workloads or higher-resolution textures. However, to move forward effectively, I’d like to review a few more specifics to help us pinpoint whether this is a system-level limitation or a performance scaling issue:
- Could you please share the CapFrameX data from one of these games (ideally The Last of Us Part II) for about 2–5 minutes of gameplay? This will help me analyze frame times, GPU utilization, and CPU scheduling in more detail.
- If you haven’t already, please generate and share an Intel SSU report so I can review your driver versions, BIOS configuration, and background processes.
- Additionally, have you noticed any change in GPU utilization when enabling V-Sync or manually limiting the frame rate, either within the game settings or through Intel Graphics Software?
Once I have this information, I’ll be able to check for known optimization behaviors, determine if your setup is affected by any current driver-level limitations, and provide targeted recommendations to help restore full performance.
Best regards,

Hey, I'm sending data from the F1 25 game. I hope I did it right. The in-game settings are all high and ray tracing is off. Turning V-Sync on or off doesn't change anything. Re-Bar is on, of course. I'm hoping for some help.

I think this poor performance is caused by the system RAM being used as V RAM. Low GPU usage only occurs in games when GPU memory usage exceeds 8GB. When I had a GTX 1080, it never exceeded its V RAM in any of these games and performance was stable. I hope you will fix it

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thank you for the additional information and for sharing your observation regarding the compatibility issue between your GPU and the Ryzen 5 3600 processor. That’s exactly why I requested the CapFrameX data and Intel SSU report in my previous response, these details will help me confirm whether the performance behavior you’re experiencing is indeed due to compatibility limitations or if other factors, such as driver, BIOS, or system configuration, are contributing to the issue.
Once I have those reports, I’ll be able to provide a more accurate assessment and explore potential workarounds or optimizations that could help improve stability and performance.
Best regards,

Hi Krzychu5662,
Thanks for getting back to us.
To help us conduct a more thorough investigation, could you please provide the following details:
- Where was the game downloaded from? Was it installed via Steam, EA App, Epic Games Store, or another platform?
- What game settings are currently being used? Please include details such as resolution, graphics quality (low/medium/high/ultra), frame rate cap, V-Sync, and any advanced settings like DLSS, FSR, or ray tracing.
- Can you provide simplified, step-by-step instructions to reproduce the issue? This will help us replicate the problem on our end and identify the root cause more effectively.
If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thank you for providing the details regarding your game setup. I appreciate the clarity on your Steam download, graphics settings (all high, ray tracing off, TAA on, 1080p resolution, V-Sync off, FPS unlimited, FSR off). This helps me better understand the environment and prepare for accurate testing.
To ensure we can reproduce the behavior properly, could you kindly provide simplified step-by-step instructions on how you launch and experience the issue in-game? This will allow us to accurately test and identify whether driver optimization can resolve the problem as you anticipate.
Best regards,
Von M.

Hello Krzychu5662,
Thank you for your patience while I reviewed your system setup. Upon checking, it appears that the processor in your current configuration may be causing a bottleneck, which is likely contributing to the performance issues you’ve been experiencing.
To maximize the performance of your graphics card and achieve the best experience, I recommend considering a different system setup with a processor better suited to handle the workload.
I appreciate your understanding in this matter. I will close this inquiry now. If you have any further questions about system requirements or recommended configurations, please feel free to reach out, and please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you again for your time and cooperation.
