There were actually some presentations about this at IDF, let me link to where you can obtain the content:

This is publicly accessible, there's a whole page of information about the latest IDF as well as some direct links to vPro presentations available on the vPro expert center here: http://communities.intel.com/community/openportit/vproexpert/blog/2010/09/15/download-the-intel-vpro-session-recordings-from-the-intel-developer-forum .

To sum up some of the key points, the next generation of vPro will be available in 2011 as part of the series 6 chipsets. Slide 9 of that deck lists some of the feature additions here, a couple of key additions include a new more straightforward provisioning mechanism that can be run from the local system OS, some KVM additions. I'd recommend checking out the slide deck, it goes into more details about these.
