I have Intel core2duo 2.33GHZ processor,1333MHZ FSB E6550
Motherboard : DG33FB
Board version : AAD81072-306
Bios version : DPP3510J.86A.0293.2007.1002.1519
OS:Windows XP professional

Under Control Panel-Hardware-Device Manager-System-Intel Management Engine Interface, a yellow bang (!) appears.
doublclicking this device gives the following on screen :

device type:system devices
manufacturer:intel
location:PCI Bus 0,device 3,function 0

Device Status:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

even after installing the latest drivers installed for Intel managment engine (ver 3.0)
I'm getting the same message.

Hi,

Did you configure the MEBx? Please refer to "Intel Management Engine BIOS Extension Setup (Intel ME Configuration)" section in the Start Here Guide located at:

http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-active-management-technology-intel-amt-software-development-kit-sdk-start-here-guide.

Let us know if this solves the issue.

Thanks,

Sree

Hi,

The DG33FB Motherboard doesn't support Intel AMT. It supports Intel Viiv.

You can refer to its specs here: http://reviews.cnet.com/motherboards/intel-desktop-board-dg33fb/4507-3049_7-32469438.html?tag=specs

Thanks,

Sree
