DPDK built wrt icc is taking about more than 12 hours of time

Hi,

I am building odu low by following the oran documents where ICC is the prerequisite previously we were facing some license issue but it was solved.

But we can see that dpdk built wrt ICC is taking so much time can you suggest any solution to avoid this?

The steps we used are:

To install ICC

Could you please try building DPDK with the latest ICC (2021.4.0)?

We see that from the links which you have provided you are using Intel System Studio.

We suggest you, use Intel oneAPI toolkits which deliver additional capabilities, and if you are a System Studio user, the equivalent of Intel System Studio is Intel oneAPI Base & IoT Toolkit products.

You can get the latest ICC 2021.4.0 from Intel® oneAPI HPC Toolkit or Intel oneAPI IoT Toolkit.

Before installing HPC or IoT Toolkits, you need to install oneAPI Base Toolkit in your system for full functionality.

I tried compiling with the latest Intel Compiler Classic (ICC 2021.4.0) by following the steps which you have mentioned and observed that it is not taking more time like what you have mentioned. Please try compiling with the latest ICC and do let us know if you still face the same issue with the exact steps that you have followed.
