I am interested in Intel Composer XE which includes the C/C++and Fortran compilers. Although it states C++ compiler, will it compile C code also as advertised, i.e. C/ C++?
Thanks,
Jim

Yes, the Intel C++ compilers, in C mode, support both C89 syntax and all C99 features included in gcc.
The C++ and Fortran compilers are often sold separately, although there are Composer packages which include both. See this ad page.
